Overview of Indian Navy Agniveer MR Recruitment 2023.
The Indian Navy, under the Agneepath Scheme, has opened vacancies for the MR (Matric Recruit) posts. A total of 100 vacancies are available for eligible men and women between the ages of 17.5 and 23 years. The recruitment process is conducted by the Indian Navy in association with the Department of Military Affairs. Eligibility Criteria

1. Educational Qualification: Candidates should have passed the Matriculation Examination from a recognized Board of School Education under the Ministry of Education, Government of India

Selection Process

Shortlisting
1. Candidates will be shortlisted based on the aggregate percentage obtained in the qualifying examination (10th). The shortlisting will be conducted on a state-wise basis in a ratio of four times the vacancies.
2. Computer-based Examination Shortlisted candidates will undergo a computer-based examination consisting of 50 objective-type questions covering Science & Mathematics and General Awareness. The question paper will be bilingual (Hindi & English) and based on the 10th syllabus.
3. Physical Fitness Test (PFT) Qualifying in the Physical Fitness Test is mandatory for selection. The PFT includes a 1.6 KM run for male candidates and an 8-minute run for female candidates, along with other physical activities.
Physical Measurement Test (PMT)
4. Candidates will undergo a physical measurement test to ensure they meet the required height standards.
Document Verification
5. Shortlisted candidates will be required to verify their documents for authentication.
Medical Examination
6.Candidates who clear the previous stages will undergo a comprehensive medical examination to assess their fitness for service in the Indian Navy.
