The Jammu and Kashmir government has officially declared Pooja Holidays, which are set to commence from November 11, 2023, and conclude on November 15, 2023, for Government Educational institutions and recognized Private Schools up to Higher Secondary levels in both the Summer and Winter Zones of the Jammu Division.
In a formal announcement, the government ordered that all Government Educational institutions and recognized Private Schools in the Summer and Winter Zones of the Jammu Division will observe a five-day Pooja Holiday period, commencing from November 11, 2023, and extending through to November 15, 2023.
This decision aims to provide students and educational staff with the opportunity to celebrate and observe the Pooja festival. It aligns with the cultural and religious significance of the festival, offering a break for educational institutions to commemorate this important occasion.
